As Indians, we have known racism for a very long time. For that matter, the world has also known it for a long time.  But only in the last few decades, we have started to realize that  Racism matters and it really affects. If you really see, WWII seeds were sown on the ground of Racism. Indian independence struggle started to combat racism. We all know about Nelson Mandela’s struggles. If you talk about recognizing racism as a problem, the UK put forth laws to prohibit discrimination around the year 1960. The US illegalized racial discrimination only in the year 1964. And still, in 2007, Shilpa Shetty wins Big Brother. And you know major credit again goes to Racism. Countries built laws around Racism. But that wasn’t enough. The new generation, over-burdened by wrongdoings of their ancestors, decided to sail them across Vaitarini by correcting what has been done in the past. How? By Reservation! As they say,  Life changes when you have a Kid and I say, it changes dramatically when you have a Pet. I have 2 beautiful bitches which most of you already know. I’m one of those first-time Pet Parents who want to do little more for their pets than daily walks of Potty and Pee. Nothing wrong with those walks, only that I wish to experience the feeling of having a pet in a different way. I want them to explore, go on long drives, see beaches, get dirty, and spread love.  Daag achchhe hote hain 😋 The hidden truth is my bitches love going out, even if it is for the whole day 🙄. And that’s the vision for  Dogs and Wanderers .  The group plans free local outings over the weekend at different Tekdis of Pune and once-a-month pocket-friendly overnight camping.   Yippie !!! And Dogs and Wanderers   is featured in Times of India today!   We have a lot of Pet Parents interested to join , which justifies the vision of this group...

I was going through my earlier blogs and could see spelling errors to grammatical errors. I thought here it could have been a better sentence formation; or probably another punch line would suit here. Some perspectives were not really in-perspective. I was considering correcting all my earlier posts and that thought itself was so overwhelming that I procrastinated the correction as well as the plan to write new blog. That’s when I realized, maybe correction is not necessary. I might have already corrected myself with every new blog that I wrote. I can’t keep on undoing my past mistakes. It is too much to fix. And of course I’m a person of mistakes . Maybe you are not. Then I’m not sure what keeps you moving. But I can keep moving, because I have to correct myself with every step, but never erase where I have fallen. When I look back, I see myself getting up and walking or probably running again. Yesterday when I saw trailer of movie Sanju, I had a second thought whether I should even watch the trailer or not. But I did for Ranbir Kapoor and it was worth watching. Not sure it was worth to watch for Ranbir or Hirani or Sanjay Dutt. And then I read the reviews today and maybe I should watch this movie. What makes me curious about the movie is, how important it is for each one of us to tell the Truth to the world, Truth as we know or feel.  Is there a single truth in this huge convoluted world of social media?  I always used to believe that there is only one truth and several interpretation. That has changed recently. Everyone who has a story, has their own truth and truth can change. There are only FACTS which don't change.  Facts like when an incident happened, what happened, who were part of it.  What is truth then? Now, Truth is how each of them felt during the incident, before/after the incident. No one is lying but no one states the facts. When...

Those were the initial days when I had started travelling alone. For the first time in 15 years, I was travelling alone by Bus. I was anxious, worried if I will get down at correct stop or not. I would have asked almost 5 times to people if Ghatkopar station came, got down and I had no clue which way is station. Finally, I reach other side of the station and take another Bus, reach college. Wow! It is not so difficult Amrita. You can get used to it! I was wearing a fitted Sky Blue Salwar Kameez which was one of my favorites. While returning, Buses were not as empty as in the morning and I have no idea how to get into that. 4 Buses gone. Alright, need to get into that now, looked at people and next bus I’m in that crowded Bus. I’m in that fully packed Bus and touched everywhere, can’t say if it is space or intention.
